Welcome to Woburn Catholic Collaborative's

2023/2024 Religious Education Program. 

The Religious Education program is well under way and we have a lot of fun activities, requirements and service opportunities coming up!

All Grades:

• Warm Clothing Drive:  Between November 5 - November 19 the WCC is collecting warm clothing for the displaced and those in need.  Please drop off your donation in the bins at each church when attending class.

• Ash Wednesday:  Wednesday, February 14 at 3:30p students greatly urged to attend Ash Wednesday Service.

Grades K - 5:

• Movie Night:  Friday, December 1 from 6:00p - 8:00p students are invited to watch a Christmas movie, enjoy some fun and popcorn.

• Christmas Pageant Rehearsal:  Wednesday, December 7 at 6:00p rehearsal will be held at St. Anthony Church.

• Christmas Pageant:  Saturday, December 16 one pageant will be held during the 4:00p Mass at St. Anthony (will alternate next year at St. Barbara)

• Pancake Supper:  Tuesday, February 13 from 6:00p - 9:00p students are invited to participate in the Shrove Tuesday festivities.

• May Procession:  Sunday, May 12 at 9:30a Mass at St. Barbara and 11:00a Mass at St. Anthony, students are invited to participate (in their FHC finery) procession.

Grade 6 - 8

• Basket and Log Making:  Friday, November 25 from 11:00a - 2:00p students in Grade 6 - Grade 8 are invited to make Christmas baskets and logs for the Friends Of St. Anthony (FOSA) fundraiser.  These items will be sold at St. Barbara the weekends of November 25/26 and December 2/3.  All proceeds will help FOSA continue to do their good works in our community.

• Pancake Supper:  Tuesday, February 13 from 6:00p - 9:00p students are invited to participate in the Shrove Tuesday festivities.

Grade 9 & Grade 10

• Baking Bread:  Sunday, November 12 at 10:30a students will help make pumpkin bread for the Homebound in our community.

• Wreath & Basket Sales:  The weekends of November 25/26 and December 2/3 we are looking for volunteers to help sell at both churches.

• Build A Bed:  Saturday, January 6 or February 3 students will be fundraising and building 10 beds in each session that are provided to families whose children do not have a proper bed to sleep on.  This is a Confirmation requirement.

• A Message of Hope Retreat (Grade 9):  Sunday, February 11 from 12:00p - 4:00p. This is a Confirmation requirement.

• A Message of Hope Retreat (Grade 10):  Sunday, March 10 from 12:00p - 4:00p.  This is a Confirmation Requirement.
